Here are 14 reasons
why you should call me for tuning, service or rebuilding of your piano:
1.
Fast Service-
Have you called a piano tuner only to find you have to wait months
before he can come, or he wants you to find him half a dozen new
customers before he can come? This is common. A good technician from a
larger city doesn’t usually want or need your business! If he’s good, he
has plenty of customers in that city! I service your area about once a
month and I do want your business!
2.
Concert quality tuning-
I have done the tuning and repairs
for numerous colleges and universities. And dozens of public schools and
churches. ( A list of references is available at the end of this
prospectus) I have eighteen years experience. All tuning by ear!
3.
I play the piano-
Would you take your car to a mechanic who had never owned or driven a
car? Of course not! I have over 10 years experience as a professional
musician, and 10 more as a recording artist. I have been writing and
performing music for over 30 years. Presently, I am working on my fifth
CD.
4.
Experience-
I have tuned thousands of pianos. That’s my main business. I am not a
part-time hobbyist trying to make extra money.
5.
Complete repair service-
I carry parts and strings for most pianos made in the last hundred
years. If it’s broken, 99 percent of the time I can repair it. Quickly,
and cost effectively!
6.
Free estimates-
In writing.
7.
Free cleaning and inspection-
For all new customers and with every tuning. ( I will need your vacuum
cleaner ).
8.
Cash for your referrals-
$10.00 for every person you refer. (selected markets. Call for details)
9.
Complete rebuilding and
refinishing service- Spray
lacquer finishes from $1700.00. Restringing, rebuilding and custom parts
fabrication.
10.
Integrity-
I’ve been in business since 1985 in the same location. Before that I
worked for Cornwall Music Co. for five years. I’m still in business
because I keep my word and I’ve earned the trust of my customers.
11.
Special event and short notice
tunings- Because I have a lot
of customers in your area, I can usually do special events with no more
than one weeks notice. But I will do my best to accommodate you. (
30 days notice is preferred.)
12.
I love my job-
I’m good at it. And I like people. I’m interested in knowing you as a
friend, not just a customer.
13.
Annual / Semi-annual check up
calls- At least once a year
I’ll call to see how you’re doing. I promise!
14.
Price-
Standard tuning, $75.00, Pitch raising (double tuning) $35.00
additional. Minimum service call - $35.00. ( travel fees may apply to
rural customers and short notice tunings.) Appraisals- $35.00. I’m not
trying to be the cheapest. Just the best! Call or e-mail for a price
quote.
